Joining is Easy
At The Psychological Corporation we understand that time and fiscal constraints may prohibit Universities from including newly published tests in the curriculum. In the interest of working cooperatively with University Training Programs to provide an alternative, we have implemented the University Outreach Program.
- In conjunction with your local Clinical Measurement Consultant, the University selects the assessment tool or topical area for a presentation. Examples of various topics include, but are not limited to: WISC-IV Integrated, WPPSI-III, WIAT-II, D-KEFS, CELF-4, DELV, DAS-II, NEPSY-II, PAL-II, Sensory Profile, Miller Function & Participation Scales, The Role of the SLP in Early Literacy Assessment, Problem-Solving and Response to Intervention.
- The University hosts the training workshop and invites the participants.
- An attendance of at leas 40 individuals is required for the program
- At least half of this group must consist of practitioners in the community.
- Your expert Measurement Consultant provides the training at no cost to the University.
- The University determines the workshop fees (if any).
- The University grants the CEUs.
- We provide the University Practicum Clinic with two FREE copies of the test presented.
Universities that elect to use the tests in practicum clinic may also request an advanced workshop conducted by The Psychological Corporation. This workshop is ideal for individuals who have gained experience with the tests. | |
