1. How do I become an examiner for Pearson?
Complete, sign & return the Background Questionnaire (BQ) and Examiner Agreements (2)

2. What happens next?
After receiving your signed agreements and BQ, Pearson will enter your name into the examiner database. When we are starting projects for which you are qualified, we will invite you to participate, giving you detailed information about the project, the payment and test window.
If you are interested, return the enrollment form.
Once selected, you will receive you a Test Kit and more detailed information.

3. Do I provide the test subjects?
Yes. Chidren can be recruited from schools, churches, daycare centers, or from among your friends. Examiners may not test their own children.

4. How do I know who to test?
Project Guidelines, included with each Test Kit, will indicate the demographics for the examinees (age, parent education level, ethnicity).

5. Do I get the parents' permission?
Yes. It is important that you have a complete, signed consent form before testing any child.

6. How do I know if I am administering the test correctly?
The first case done by each examiner will be reviewed and you will receive feedback.
It is important to get this feedback before continuing to test. We cannot pay for tests that are not correctly administered.

7. Should I wait and send in all the rest of the protocols in at the end?
No. Please send in each test case as soon as possible after it is administered.

8. Can I score the test and give the parents the results?
No. You cannot score the test as it is still under development.

9. What about payment?
Examiner and participant payments are processed within 4-6 weeks after we receive completed cases. The payment amount will vary from project to project, but will be based on the amount of time needed to administer the test and complete the necessary paperwork.
